Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple complex software development projects from initiation to deployment.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for SaaS products.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, utilizing agile methodologies.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among distributed team members and stakeholders across different time zones.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Oversee the quality assurance and testing phases of software projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization.
- Stay current with industry best practices in SaaS development and project management.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager, with a significant focus on software development projects, particularly in the SaaS domain.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional, remote teams.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight of projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Self-disciplined, highly organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
