About the Role
Our client, a dynamic player in the telecommunications industry, is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to join their team in
Bradford . This role operates on a hybrid model, blending office presence with remote flexibility. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecommunications projects, from inception to completion. This includes managing budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet their objectives on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing telecom infrastructure projects, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. You will play a crucial role in driving project success and contributing to our client's continued growth in the West Yorkshire region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements, and manage resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained and stored appropriately.
- Manage project scope changes and assess their impact.
- Facilitate team collaboration and foster a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the telecommunications sector.
- Proven experience managing large-scale network infrastructure or service deployment projects.
- Strong understanding of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk management and change control processes.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial forecasting.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote team environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom .
