About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to spearhead key initiatives in Leeds . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of telecommunications projects, from conception through to successful completion. This includes planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of project management methodologies within the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Regularly report on project progress, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing complex projects within the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to manage budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
