About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and highly organised Senior Telecoms Project Manager for a fully remote position, supporting projects across the UK. This role is critical for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecommunications projects from initiation to closure. You will manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project leader with a proven track record in the telecoms industry, capable of driving projects forward independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple telecom projects simultaneously, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors, fostering effective communication.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager within the telecommunications sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale infrastructure or network deployment projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
