Our client, a leading firm in aviation technology solutions, is seeking an accomplished Aviation Project Manager to lead diverse projects from conception to completion. Based in

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of aviation projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Manage communication with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Oversee project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Facilitate project review meetings and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with significant technical and regulatory challenges.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and methodologies.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering is a strong asset.
