About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects using agile and best-practice methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance remote work culture.
- Ensure adherence to strict health, safety, and environmental standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee project procurement, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and performance to senior management and clients regularly.
- Drive innovation in project delivery, particularly in areas of sustainability and digital construction.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality expectations and client requirements.
- Manage project financials, tracking costs and ensuring profitability.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex construction projects remotely.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory environments.
- Expertise in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Slack).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
