About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead various building projects in the vibrant city of Brighton . You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design to final completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of construction methodologies. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on all construction sites.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement timely solutions to mitigate issues.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients and project teams.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar senior site role.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIOB, APM) are advantageous.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in project management software.
