About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Aviation Project Manager to lead significant projects within their organization based in Oxford . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex aviation-related initiatives from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring successful delivery against scope, quality, and timeline objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of aviation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal staff, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements throughout project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with significant budgets and timelines.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
