About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Project Manager to lead key initiatives from a fully remote position. This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of aviation-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks to drive project success. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of aviation projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex aviation projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of aviation operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead geographically dispersed teams in a remote setting .
