About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and organized Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical network infrastructure projects in Derby, Derbyshire . This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of telecommunications projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close telecommunications projects according to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and motivation.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years managing telecommunications projects.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and network infrastructure deployment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
