About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of telecommunications projects, operating on a hybrid basis from their Nottingham office. This role involves managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, playing a critical role in the successful execution of key initiatives within the telecommunications division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage project resources, including team members, contractors, and external vendors.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to all stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and company standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing telecommunications projects, from infrastructure rollouts to service deployments.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable for roles in Nottingham .
