About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical projects, operating entirely remotely from Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, UK . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecommunications infrastructure and service implementation projects. You will manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of telecommunications projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage project execution, track progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, vendors, and senior management.
- Oversee procurement, contract management, and vendor performance to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on telecommunications or IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable for this remote role.
