About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of innovative clean energy projects. Based in Glasgow , this hybrid role allows for flexible work arrangements, combining strategic remote planning with essential on-site collaboration and project oversight. You will manage all phases of project lifecycles, from initial feasibility studies and planning through to construction, commissioning, and handover. Your leadership will be key in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, driving the transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage initiatives.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and identifying risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and permitting regulations.
- Oversee site selection, development, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Conduct project reviews and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex energy projects.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and project development processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
