About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and execution of offshore wind farm projects based in Glasgow . This critical role involves overseeing all phases of project lifecycle, from initial planning and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and significant budgets to ensure the successful delivery of complex renewable energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of offshore wind farm projects .
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and resources to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams , including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and community representatives.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution.
- Oversee procurement, contract negotiation, and the management of third-party vendors and contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management , with a significant portion dedicated to large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects, particularly offshore wind .
- Proven experience in managing budgets exceeding £100 million and complex project timelines.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI) and risk management techniques.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing contractual agreements and complex supply chains.
