About the Role
Our client, a leading property development firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee new residential and commercial developments in and around Plymouth . This crucial role involves managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams, manage risk, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property development project management within the Devon region and possess excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of property development projects, from planning to handover.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Appoint and manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, planning permissions, and health and safety standards.
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings to monitor project status and quality.
- Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the development process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the property development sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, planning, and building regulations in the UK .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard office tools.
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred for this Plymouth -based role.
