About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects based in and around Plymouth . This role demands a strong understanding of the architectural process combined with excellent project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors, managing all phases of the project lifecycle. This is a key position for an individual passionate about delivering successful architectural outcomes within the Plymouth region, benefiting from a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage architectural projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress closely.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Oversee the procurement process and manage contractor performance.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant planning permissions, building regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and progress meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in architectural project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management software and architectural CAD tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of risk management and quality assurance principles.
