About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Telecoms Project Manager to lead and deliver complex telecommunications projects in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the telecommunications sector. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, managing all stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for telecommunications infrastructure and service deployment projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and third-party contractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion of that experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
