About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Telecoms Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of critical network infrastructure projects in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of telecommunications, strong leadership skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage project teams, stakeholders, and resources effectively, driving projects forward in a complex and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement of equipment and services, managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Report on project status, milestones, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecommunications sector or related infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrable knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Strong understanding of telecommunications network technologies and deployment processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
