About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organized Remote Construction Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects across various locations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while managing all facets of construction projects from planning to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, liaising with site teams, clients, and stakeholders virtually. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who excels in remote collaboration and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initiation and planning through to execution and closeout, entirely remotely.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between remote teams, on-site personnel, clients, and suppliers via digital platforms.
- Oversee procurement processes, contract administration, and risk management for all assigned projects.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across all project sites through virtual oversight and regular reporting.
- Conduct virtual site inspections and progress reviews, providing clear direction and feedback to on-site teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple remote projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with project management software, collaboration tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills adaptable to a remote environment.
- Experience working independently and managing remote teams effectively, ideally within a construction context based in or familiar with the Plymouth region.
