About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee key projects within their expanding network infrastructure division in Plymouth, Devon . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the fast-paced telecoms sector . The hybrid work model allows for effective team coordination and individual focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of telecoms projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Manage project financials, track expenditures, and report on budget adherence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a focus on telecommunications projects .
- Solid understanding of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience managing project budgets and resource allocation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work setting and manage distributed teams.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
