About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to oversee complex projects within their dynamic organization in London . You will be instrumental in guiding projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This pivotal role involves managing cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation to drive project success and contribute to the company's growth objectives, fostering a collaborative environment focused on efficient execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, utilizing project management software .
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating when necessary to senior leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned to improve future project execution and processes.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in a corporate setting, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
