About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead significant operational improvement projects in Nottingham . This role is key to driving efficiency, implementing new processes, and optimizing workflows across various departments. You will work closely with operations teams, management, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting objectives for cost savings, productivity gains, and enhanced service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of operational projects, from initial assessment and planning through to implementation and review.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within core business operations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that project outcomes lead to measurable improvements in operational performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on operational improvements or process optimization.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects within demanding operational environments.
- Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, with experience working across different departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
