About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects within the vibrant city of Brighton . This is a challenging yet rewarding role, responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects from inception to handover. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and project teams, ensuring all objectives are met while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for strategic remote planning and essential on-site presence to effectively manage projects in East Sussex and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards on all sites.
- Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Control project costs, managing variations and approving payments to maintain budget integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience as a Construction Project Manager , demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of contract management, risk assessment, and financial control in the construction industry.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and relevant construction technologies.
