About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and highly capable Senior Project Manager with expertise in Healthcare Technology to join their innovative team in Bristol . This role is essential for driving the successful implementation and integration of cutting-edge healthcare solutions, improving patient care and operational efficiency within healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to deployment and post-implementation support, working closely with clinical staff, IT professionals, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare technology projects, including EMR/EHR system implementations, telehealth platforms, and medical device integration.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including clinical informaticists, IT specialists, and vendor partners.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and data privacy standards.
- Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, specifically within the healthcare technology sector.
- Proven experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, and medical device integration.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and regulations, such as HIPAA.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; PMP or CHIME certification is a plus.
