About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their innovative team in Bristol, South West England, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocations.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication channels are maintained.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
- Ensure clear and consistent reporting of project status, progress, and key performance indicators to all relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and ensure adherence to company standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management , with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall).
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools for effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; PMP or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
