About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and organized IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives for their operations in Belfast . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes, contributing to the technological advancement of the organization and driving innovation in a fast-paced digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with IT best practices and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project management , with a focus on software development and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience managing expectations in Belfast .
