About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Lead IT Project Manager to join their technology division based in Reading . This role embraces a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility between office and remote work. You will be responsible for guiding a portfolio of IT projects, managing complex implementations, and leading a team of project managers. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IT Project Managers, overseeing their project portfolios.
- Manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale IT projects.
- Develop and implement robust IT project management standards and best practices.
- Oversee IT project budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to align IT projects with business strategy.
- Ensure the timely and successful deployment of new IT systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as an IT Project Manager , with demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity principles.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment in the Reading area is beneficial.
