About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to drive their digital transformation initiatives from a fully remote capacity. This role is central to guiding cross-functional teams through the adoption and execution of agile principles, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of software products and projects. You will foster a collaborative and iterative work environment, optimising workflows and team performance. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and facilitator, passionate about agile methodologies and adept at managing distributed teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor teams on agile principles, practices, and values to ensure effective adoption.
- Manage project backlogs, define sprint goals, and track progress towards delivery milestones.
- Remove impediments and blockers for the development team to ensure smooth progress.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and team self-organisation within a remote framework.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager , Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience managing software development projects in a remote or distributed team setting.
- Certification such as CSM, CSPO, or PMP is highly desirable.
