About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential development projects in the Coventry area. This role involves managing all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to site execution and final handover. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of building regulations, site management, and has a proven ability to lead teams effectively in a hands-on capacity, contributing to the growth and reputation of a respected developer in the West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progression.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for all assigned residential projects.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on all construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , specifically in residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations in the UK .
- Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site management best practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and project specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant construction or project management qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, CIOB).
