About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated IT Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham . This role is central to managing and delivering various IT projects, including system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and software development initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that IT projects align with the overall business strategy, driving efficiency and technological advancement within the company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems and project management principles, coupled with excellent organisational and communication skills to navigate the complexities of IT project delivery in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects , from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocations for IT initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution in Birmingham .
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with IT projects, implementing effective mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to senior management on project performance and milestones.
- Ensure all IT projects adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and network projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management software and methodologies. A relevant IT or Project Management certification is preferred.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Birmingham area.
