About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical initiatives from their Birmingham office. This senior position involves providing strategic direction, managing a portfolio of projects, and mentoring a team of project coordinators. You will play a crucial role in shaping project strategies, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and maintaining the highest standards of project execution. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop strategic project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management frameworks.
- Lead and mentor a team of project professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing regular project updates and strategic recommendations.
- Implement and refine project management processes and best practices across the organisation.
- Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects within a corporate setting.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Expertise in various project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
