About the Role
Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company focused on delivering innovative treatments to patients globally. We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical projects within our drug development lifecycle. Based in our Reading office, you will oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest scientific and quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical development process from discovery through to regulatory submission and launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams through the various stages of pharmaceutical drug development .
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy) or relevant business field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry .
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, including preclinical, clinical, and regulatory phases.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
