About the Role
Our client requires a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead a significant new development in the heart of Cardiff . You will be responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of this high-profile project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Oversee all phases of the construction project, from pre-construction planning through to completion and handover.
- Manage and motivate project teams, including site staff, consultants, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management , with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and building regulations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
