About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Remote Pharmaceutical Project Manager to oversee critical drug development projects from initiation to completion. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and deliverables, ensuring that project work remains aligned with company strategy and objectives, and fostering a culture of efficient and successful project execution in a distributed team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple pharmaceutical development projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and communication plans for all assigned projects.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, clinical affairs, regulatory, and manufacturing.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA) throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; Master's or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry .
- Proven experience managing complex drug development projects (e.g., pre-clinical, clinical trials, regulatory submissions).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development processes and regulatory affairs .
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
