About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of challenging infrastructure projects based in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of civil engineering projects, from initial planning and design through to construction and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project progress.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry, managing large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contract administration.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver projects successfully.
