About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Remote Project Manager to lead critical projects from anywhere in the UK, with primary support for initiatives previously managed from Reading , Berkshire . This role is designed for a highly self-motivated individual who thrives in a remote work environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple complex projects in a fully remote setting .
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scope definitions, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Foster strong collaboration and communication among geographically dispersed project teams and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Track project progress against key performance indicators, providing comprehensive status reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management , with a proven track record of delivering results remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in using remote collaboration tools and project management software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills tailored for remote team dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets and resources effectively in a distributed environment.
