About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical projects within the thriving Aberdeen energy sector. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Manage and track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communicate project status, updates, and critical information effectively to senior management and all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager , with a significant focus on the energy sector or related industries.
- Demonstrable success in managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Jira.
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
