About the Role
Our client seeks a highly capable Project Manager with expertise in Marine & Offshore Engineering to join their dynamic team in Plymouth . Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for marine and offshore engineering projects, from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction phases, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, naval architects, and site personnel.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards relevant to the marine and offshore industry.
Requirements
- Significant experience (7+ years) as a Project Manager , with a specialization in Marine & Offshore Engineering or related fields (e.g., Oil & Gas, Renewables).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale engineering projects in demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of naval architecture, offshore structures, and maritime operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and technical design tools.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Marine, Mechanical, Civil) and professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
