About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives for their operations in Belfast . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, enterprise-wide IT projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external vendors, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and guide project teams, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function.
Requirements
- Significant experience (7+ years) in managing large-scale IT projects , including infrastructure, software development, and system implementations.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for complex projects.
- Excellent understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycles.
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is essential.
