Overview In this role, you drive delivery excellence as part of PA’s Major Programme Services. You’ll guide complex projects and programmes, tailoring PMO processes to client needs and ensuring value, risk control, and timely delivery. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to shape initiatives across Defence, infrastructure, and public sector. Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure delivery from initiation to closure
- Develop and execute project plans with defined scope, goals, deliverables, resources and timelines
- Apply Agile, Waterfall and other PM methodologies, tailoring approaches per project
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies
- Maintain regular client communication and manage stakeholder expectations
- Monitor budgets and resource allocation to meet financial targets
- Implement change management to adopt new solutions within client organizations
- Undertake stakeholder engagement to foster collaboration among participants
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and support their development
Key requirements - British nationality is required
- At least 2 years' experience in project management consulting/PMO or related roles
- Experience applying various project management methodologies and tools across contexts
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and motivate others
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Advanced degree or certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) is highly desirable
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder presentations
