Overview In questo Bristol-based role, you will establish and run project quality assurance frameworks to ensure fabrication and installation meet contractual standards. You will drive a Right First Time mindset and act as the main quality interface between manufacturing teams, suppliers, and the client. Embedding Nuclear Safety Culture and CFSI training, you protect the supply chain and support continuous improvement across UK sites, including major projects like Hinkley Point C. You work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues and optimise processes, delivering high-integrity systems with rigorous governance.
Responsibilities - Develop, review and maintain project quality processes to ensure compliance with contractual standards
- Embed Nuclear Safety Culture behaviours and lead training on Nuclear Culture, CFSI, and compliance principles
- Act as primary client quality interface with regular feedback, metrics, and reporting
- Proactively detect and prevent CFSI entry and oversee supply chain compliance
- Support supplier approvals, audits, and performance reviews, including on-site travel
- Collaborate with manufacturing and installation leads to resolve technical issues and manage NDT, dimensional, and fabrication quality records
- Track project performance against key metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Apply Lean methodologies to optimise processes and improve overall quality
Key requirements - Quality program implementation experience in complex manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environments
- Proven Lean and fact-based problem-solving background
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 19443, plus welding and NDT standards
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel) for data manipulation and KPI reporting
- Willingness to travel across the UK to sites and suppliers
- Attention to detail with an investigative mindset
