Overview In this role you support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a leading UK consultancy. You work alongside experienced managers and technical specialists to ensure projects meet quality, schedule and safety targets, while developing skills across planning, governance and controls. You’ll help drive major capital investment programmes and uphold best practices in health, safety and sustainability. This is a hands-on early-career opportunity to contribute to critical water infrastructure and professional growth.

Responsibilities - Support delivery across the project lifecycle for water and wastewater projects
- Assist with planning, programme management, reporting, risk management and project controls
- Support administration of NEC contracts and governance processes
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and design teams to achieve outcomes
- Monitor performance: cost, schedule, risks, actions
- Prepare documentation, meeting minutes and progress updates
- Contribute to major capital investment programmes in the water sector
- Promote health, safety, quality, sustainability and continuous improvement
- Develop project management skills through mentoring and training
Key requirements - Experience in project support or coordination within a consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environment
- Exposure to water, utilities or infrastructure projects is desirable
- Understanding of core project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, risk, stakeholder management)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to build relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication; confident with clients and project teams
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Environmental Science)
- Progress towards recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2) or willingness to pursue one
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
