Overview You will lead the delivery of electrical and mechanical work on complex building projects, from pre-construction through handover. You’ll collaborate with design, planning and commercial teams to meet programme, safety, quality and financial goals. Responsibilities - Manage electrical and mechanical package delivery from pre-construction to handover
- Develop delivery programmes, short-term plans and procurement schedules
- Coordinate design information, submittals, RFIs and builder's-work requirements
- Lead/subcontractor management ensuring safety, quality and productivity
- Monitor progress, cost, risk and change with recovery actions
- Lead client, consultant and subcontractor meetings with clear action tracking
- Ensure procurement of materials, plant and resources aligned with programme
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M information and practical completion
- Support valuations, variations and financial performance with commercial colleagues
Key requirements - Proven experience managing electrical and mechanical packages on construction or engineering projects
- Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning
- Confident in leading subcontractors and communicating with clients, consultants and project teams
- Relevant technical qualification or trade background with strong site-delivery experience
- Good understanding of health and safety, quality assurance and project controls
- Ability to work with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
