Overview In this role you will lead on a multimillion-pound project in Essex as the number one Site Manager for a leading UK contractor. You will manage on-site teams, driving safety, quality and progress across new build and social housing refurbishment works. The position involves commuting to East London and potentially other London sites, with a clear path to Senior Site Manager. You will work across education, healthcare, social housing, heritage and commercial sectors to deliver excellence.
Responsibilities - Hold responsibility as the on-site lead for the project
- Lead the on-site team and subcontractors to achieve safety, quality and schedule targets
- Coordinate interfaces with clients, designers and supply chain
- Monitor progress, report progress and manage site logistics
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards
- Travel to East London and other London sites for current and future projects
Key requirements - Proven track record with a top main contractor
- Experience as number one Site Manager on a major project
- Experience on new build and social housing projects
- Preferably social housing and refurbishment exposure
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid trained
- Willingness to commute to East London and other London locations
