Overview In this role you will lead the delivery of a major framework refurbishment at Stansted Airport, working within a respected contractor. You will align scope, programme and budget with senior site and commercial teams to ensure quality and profitability. You shape design management, subcontract terms and risk control while maintaining strong client relationships. You will contribute to business development and uphold the highest health and safety standards. Responsibilities - Deliver agreed project specification, programme and budget
- Collaborate with Construction Manager / Site Manager
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and site standards
- Lead pricing, programming and contract negotiations
- Oversee Design Management and timely provision of design information
- Negotiate sub-contract terms aligned with main contract
- Manage project budget, margin and monthly valuations with commercial team
- Identify, manage and mitigate risk across contractual and construction aspects
- Control costs and drive project profitability
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Lead a structured, motivated project team
- Manage client relationships and ensure timely client information flow
- Take ultimate responsibility for site Health & Safety
- Foster a cooperative, focused on-site team
- Assist Directors with business development and securing new opportunities
Key requirements - Stable career background
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Experience setting up and running cut and carve refurbishment projects
- Experience assisting and preparing Design Management
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6
