Overview In this role you will support the Defence Programme Performance team to deliver robust requirements across complex, regulated projects including nuclear sectors. You will work closely with clients and senior leaders to capture, validate and implement requirements that drive project scope and capability development. You’ll lead workshops, produce clear documentation, and coach teams to strengthen a proactive requirements culture. This position offers hybrid working, with significant client/site exposure and a role that directly impacts defence outcomes.

Responsibilities - Capture and assess requirements to identify benefits and opportunities
- Develop and implement robust, strategic requirements for future capabilities
- Maintain updated requirements registers and ensure clear documentation across teams
- Produce fit-for-purpose requirements documents to support capability development and RIBA processes
- Engage with project managers, clients, and leadership to validate key requirements
- Create and manage requirements management plans across multiple projects
- Lead requirements workshops and training to foster a proactive culture
Key requirements - Industry experience in defence or regulated sectors
- Expertise in requirements management and integrated processes across portfolios
- Experience with DOORs (live databases) and Advanced Excel
- Proficiency in project management; understanding of benefits mapping is useful
- Desirable familiarity with defence, rail, infrastructure lifecycles and related frameworks (RIBA or GRIP)
- Recognised qualifications such as APM Risk Management or Institute of Risk Management
