Overview In this role you drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale construction projects within Bristol, partnering with architects, engineers and clients to meet time, budget and quality goals. You will implement governance, manage plans, and proactively mitigate risks to deliver value and safety. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration and mentor junior PMs, contributing to a consultancy-focused, client-driven environment. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end management of large-scale construction projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet objectives
- Implement project governance, processes, and systems across the lifecycle
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor project finances and manage the change control process
- Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders via meetings and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients
- Mentor and guide junior project managers to support development
Key requirements - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale construction projects
- PMP certification
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong client, contractor and team relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience in a consultancy environment preferred
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED knowledge a plus
