Overview In this role you will lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical installation works on water infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, on-schedule and within-budget outcomes. You will collaborate with civil, design and commercial teams to coordinate multi-discipline delivery and manage client relationships across long-term framework programs. The position offers impact through shaping installation strategies and driving efficient handover of projects. Responsibilities - Deliver M&E works on water infrastructure projects
- Lead projects from planning through installation and commissioning
- Coordinate M&E subcontractors, suppliers and specialist teams
- Ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence
- Develop installation strategies and delivery plans
- Coordinate with civil/engineering teams for integration
- Monitor programme performance and implement corrective actions
- Manage project risks, design coordination and technical challenges
- Support commercial with cost management, change control and forecasting
- Attend and lead progress/site/client meetings
- Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and contract requirements
- Oversee testing, commissioning and handover
- Maintain strong client and delivery-partner relationships
Key requirements - Proven experience delivering M&E packages on infrastructure or utilities projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installation processes
- Experience managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
- Experience in regulated sectors such as water, utilities or energy
- Good understanding of NEC or similar construction contracts
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
