Overview In this role you drive design management and delivery for ports, coastal and maritime infrastructure, ensuring technical excellence and on-time programs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with domestic and international offices, and act as a trusted client interface with port authorities and government agencies. You’ll contribute to growing AECOM’s Ports & Maritime capability and mentor engineers to strengthen delivery. Responsibilities - Lead design management and delivery of ports and maritime projects (port expansions, marine structures, coastal infrastructure, waterfront developments)
- Own and manage work packages including scope, schedule, technical delivery and client outcomes
- Coordinate with national and global teams to leverage design capability for complex projects
- Act as client interface and maintain trusted relationships with authorities and clients
- Manage end-to-end project delivery including design, commercial management, programme coordination and multidisciplinary integration
- Provide leadership across maritime and coastal engineering disciplines to ensure standards and best practice
- Support growth of Ports & Maritime capability and mentor engineers
Key requirements - Significant experience as Design Manager, Technical Lead, Project Manager or Senior Engineer in ports, coastal or maritime projects
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on complex maritime projects
- Experience delivering design and planning for ports, marine structures, coastal infrastructure or waterfront developments
- Proven ability to own and deliver packages within major infrastructure programs
- Strong client engagement and stakeholder management with port authorities and government agencies
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple offices or international delivery environments
