Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end project delivery for data centre developments, guiding scope, schedule and budget to meet client objectives. You will work within a cross-functional team to establish success criteria, governance, and risk controls, ensuring quality, safety and financial discipline. You’ll interface with clients and consultants across project stages, driving progress reports and knowledge capture. Responsibilities - Lead project management commissions and end-to-end service delivery
- Ensure projects meet time, cost, quality targets and client objectives
- Establish project success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Identify and escalate quality, safety, health and environment issues to line management
- Set up effective governance, processes and systems for projects
- Produce detailed project plans and schedules
- Oversee change control and monitor project finances
- Manage project information flow with client via meetings and written communications
- Prepare progress reports and capture knowledge for internal database
- Support client interfacing and coordination with other consultants across project stages
- Adhere to SOX controls where applicable
- Comply with Business Management Systems (HSE and Quality)
Key requirements - 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably in data centres or similar technical environments
- Thorough understanding of full project lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools and techniques
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on medium to high complexity construction projects
- Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure (HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security, BMS)
- Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft skills; Primavera skills highly regarded
- Excellent written and spoken English; strong report and bid writing skills
